Hi bicyclestamps.de

Paris - Roubaix cobbled road race

Yes, I have done short sections of cobbled route in Retro Ronde events in Belgium, and thought my lower jaw might be dropped off on some road... the latest winner Mathieu must be strong on those "Rough Staff" because he is also a world champion of Cyclo-cross.

Hi Uknjay - welcome to the thematic philately .

I think bicycle theme fits very well to the format and size of a postage stamp. Nice machine, effort and drama, in the wider scenery or townscape, and often together with spectators. I love to read all of those in a small piece of paper!

...... and no comment on the Olympic Games 1984 in LA?
