Submarines On Stamps

I spent the great part of my 20+ years in the U.S. Navy looking for submarines - or as we called them, TARGETS!

Here is one of my favorite German and Submarine stamps.

You are the first person that have really sparked my attention with a excellence show of submarines I have battle ship, planes and others but no submarines. These means that I now have a challenge search for "Red October).

I guess US Scott 3377a is obvious, huh?

You guys are hurting my feelings the search is on

I had to fly over and drop the search for "Red October" Mission completed.

Submarine, printed by photogravure, and issued by Indonesia on October 5, 1964 as one of a set of three stamps honoring the Indonesian Navy, Scott No. 649.

The Redoutable, launched in 1967, was the lead ship of her class of ballistic missile nuclear submarine in the French Marine Nationale. Here is an image of a stamp depicting Redoutable submerged and launching a missile, designed and engraved by Robert Cami, and issued by France on October 25, 1969, Scott No. 1259, Y&T No. 1615.
