Not that many Polish submarine stamps. We've had the two Polish Govt in Exile ones, here's the rest 1970 commemorating WWII Polish Warships, part of a set of 3 ORP Orzel (previously commemorated by the Polish Govt in Exile) 1973 One of the Polish Inventor Stefan Drzewiecki's designs from the 1870's. Finally, from the 2005 M/S commemorating My Favourite Reading, a fanciful rendering of Captain Nemo's submarine, Nautilus, from Jules Verne's novel, "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea" |
