Not exactly "submarines on stamps", but I think this may be the earliest submarine-related philatelic/fiscal item posted, dated January of 1870. From my collection.

The Vityaz-D is the first full-ocean depth, fully autonomous deep submergence vehicle. The Vityaz-D reached a depth of 10,028 meters on 8 May 2020, spending over three hours studying the Mariana Trench.

China's homegrown deep-sea manned submersible "Fendouzhe", which dived to a national record depth of 10,909 meters in the Mariana Trench.

I was a submariner in the Royal Navy for 20+ years (seemed longer ) and have collected several covers depicting the boats launch date normally signed by the commanding officer at that time.

Once I get my scanner functioning correctly I will upload them to the forum.
