Here is the 18c value (Sc # 1562) from the USA's March 25, 1975 American Bicentennial: Contributors to the Cause set of four. Stamp depicts Peter Francisco (1760-1831), a Portuguese-born colonial patriot. As a child, Francisco was kidnapped from his home in Port Judeu, Azores and left abandoned in coastal Virginia.

From wikipedia, "He grew to be six feet and eight inches in height (203 cm), and weigh some 260 lbs. (118 kg)...Following the Battle of Camden, South Carolina, Francisco noticed the Americans were leaving behind one of their valuable cannons, mired in mud. Legend says he freed and picked up the approximately 1,100-pound cannon and carried it on his shoulder to keep it from falling into the hands of the enemy."
