I need more space for those items that won't fit in a standard sized binder. Mostly documents of some sort. I have a copy of "America's National Parks Commemorated On Official U.S. Stamp Issues". That's a long title for a collection U.S. Parks on Panels.

My idea is to remove the panels, send them to a young collector and reuse the binder for my documents. Problem is, I don't know if they are of "Archival" quality and may damage my documents.

Better yet would be a good source of 12x14 or larger mounting media, with binder, that I could purchase. I have many documents mid to late 1700s and many more 1800s that I would like to view without bending them. I have some early 1800s slave documents (RM) that are starting to fall apart because of viewing. I need to find a better way of storing these historical pieces and I'm open to suggestions.

On google search for "document archival supplies". I had a similar need only for some of my genealogy records. Archival of documents reqquire many of the needs as for stamps - acid free, etc.

I would try Itoya Art Portfolios - they are all made of archival quality material and are quite affordable. I recently purchased a 9x12 version for my mint sheets that I'm very happy with and I will certainly consider more for other large format material that I have. I'm not sure if they make a 14x12 (I see 11x14 and 13x19) version but they do have larger sizes on Amazon which all range from $10-15.

Some photo albums are made with archival materials and come in a variety of sizes. There is a chain store called 'Archivers' that carry a wide variety of materials.
