Question: Katherine Dunham posted just above, has "Indian ancestry". Is that India Indian or Native American Indian? Her Wikipedia page mentions East Indies, West Indies, and Caribbean influences, and Indian ancestry (plus French Canadian and African) but says nothing about Native American ancestry or influences, so methinks this stamp is misplaced being an India Indian representative not Native American Indian.
Update: Thank you KuoLC5310 for providing your update/clarification from Library of Congress, "her mother, Fanny June Dunham, is a woman of French-Canadian and American Indian heritage." I would trust that reference more than Wikipedia. I knew I should never doubt you. :-)
