I'm currently just finishing up the Perf 11 1917 - 1919 Washington - Franklins from the one cent to the 1 dollar. With this stamp, I have only one left to get and that is the 12 cent, which is on it's way. All are "unused". Then the set will be complete except for US #500 which...well...

IBFS: I know I shouldn't be on here with my old 1976 catalogue (it has a black biblical look to it) but is that stamp US Scott#508?

I can't remember the lst time I bought just "one stamp". All of my recent purchases from the last decade involve 100's to 1000's of stamps. I suppose if I ever get to the point of spending more than 99 cents for a single stamp I could post my last stamp that I purchased. I do look forward to seeing what others are buying.

...Ooops...Yes, that is 508. And don't feel bad, I still have a 1972 Scott catalog with the same Biblical look.

My most recent:

When I got it from the seller, I noticed that part of the indicium had a piece of paper from another envelope mashed on top of it (inside red oval).

Nice EFO made nicer.

Here is just one Vario sheet from a collection I purchased this summer. These are just some of the US Stamps in the collection.

This is the first single stamp that I have purchased and paid more than $20 for. I was happy to get this one for $24. I am so excited. I just love this stamp... it is so beautiful! I think I am falling in love with engraved stamps!

This is also my first time posting a photograph in a post so please be kind. This is the photograph that was used in the auction and is a photo of the actual stamp I purchased.

I changed the word "stamp" to "stamps" in the title so no-one would get the impression I was looking for everybody to see just single stamps. What's been scanned so for has bee great!

Speaking of loving engraved stamps......US #512 came today. This now incompletely completes this set all "unused". US #500 and #505 aren't there and probably never will be. There isn't even a space for #505......on my album page.

So I unveil, with great pomp, Scott #512 US...

A South West Africa 2d bilingual pair...with a gutter:

These bilinguals are properly collected in pairs...just not typically with a gutter between. (At least it's not typical for me.)

In a small accumulation of Bolivian stamps I bought, I discovered the above 2 stamps. The one on the left is of course from early Hawaii, not a real gem but I like it nevertheless. The right one is a bit of a mistery. I find the stamp without the overprint, but not with it.
Can a specialist among you shed some light, please?

Thank you!
