Fortress of Almeida in Ribacoa region was constructed with rock and masonry in 1641. Since 1980 the fortress began to take on a cultural and historical function.

Vucitrn Castle is a fortress located on a hilltop in the old town of Vucitrn. The stone structure was built in the early 15th century. The most recent restoration work was completed in 2014.

Fort San Domingo is a historical fortress in Tamsui District, New Taipei City. It was originally built with wood by Spanish in 1628 and was rebuilt with stone by Dutch in 1644. The fort became a national historical site since 1980.

The medieval Bjni Fortress is located on a mesa in in the village of Bjni in central Armenia. Much of the fortification was destroyed in late 14th century. The stamp shows the remains of the stone walls.

Fortress of Sagres is located in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, on the southwestern tip of Portugal. The 15th century abaluartada fortress was rebuilt in late 18th century and underwent major renovations in the 1960s and 1990s.

Castle of Elvas is an important defense position in the Alentejo region in eastern Portugal. The 12 century stone fortress takes the shape of an irregular quadrilateral polygon defined by bastion walls flanked by two-story towers. Modification and renovation continued until the 1940s.
