The Menorah is a seven-branched candelabrum used in the Tabernacle and in the Temple in Jerusalem. Since ancient times, it has served as a symbol representing the Jewish people and Judaism. It became the State of Israel's official emblem.

This SS, issued by Israel on May 27, 2018 shows Menorah's from different periods in the history of Judaism in land of Israel:

"Labor is Life", detail from a mosaic mural by the American artist Lumen Martin Winter (1908 – 1982) in the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) building in Washington, DC. The stamp was designed by Victor S. McCloskey, Jr, engraved by the Bureau of Engraving & Printing and issued by the USA on September 3, 1956 to mark the Labor Day.
