With Biden, there have been six living US presidents who did not see reelection after a full first term. Truman full term only counts as his period of replacement POTUS was not long enough to be considered as a first term for reelection purposes.

While the prior five, Polk, Buchanan, Hayes, Truman and LB Johnson have one or more stamps issued for them, Biden has yet to receive one from the USA or other stamp issuing entity. All have postal history which would work in the topic, such as Biden Inauguration covers.

Show here what you have in the topic.

A different topic would be the list of presidents who did not seek a second term due to death while in office, Harrison, Garfield, Harding and Kennedy.

The US does not put living people on stamps. Do you mean other nations?

Truman on an Israel issue is fitting. Truman was the US President that recognized Israel as a new nation, 11 or 12 minutes after Israel announced it's Nationhood. Every advisor to Truman advised against this, including The General (George Marshall), and his Secretary Of Defense Forrestal.

Polk was "The Napoleon on the Stump". A small man, even smaller as a person. Reportedly humorless, and without personal charm, Sam Houston said his problem was" he drank too much water". He lives in our memory...and stamp essays.

cheers mark

edit to clarify secretary of defense and secretary of state,Marshall
and spelling

Actually it does but as part of a subject that is not about the individual. The 9-11 Heroes semi-postal is a prime example. There are more than a handful of other stamps for which the illustrated person(s) have been identified by name. But your are correct that the US did not issue any stamps showing them when they were alive.

Actually with the USA, the first five have been dead for some time and having one or more US stamps issued honoring them--all dead US presidents have at least one. Inaugural covers are postal history do not include a stamp of the person but do include images as part of the cover's cachet. Wallace "stamps" are cinderellas but I do not know if he has been shown on other country's stamps.

And yes I do want to see items from countries other than the USA as they too fit the topic.

Edited: To correct some information as I forgot which topic I was typing upon

Several countries like Liberia and Marshal Islands issued stamps show all USA presidents. In 1974, Laos issued a set of ten stamps shows all US presidents up to Gerald Ford. Here is one stamp from the set shows Buchanan (bottom left)

This set is not listed by Scott, but listed by Michel and Gibbons.
