I just bought a complete set for 2025 but I had to buy it at two different sources. Volume 1 is only available on Amazon (limited supply) and no major stamp dealer has it in stock. Likewise, there isn't a single ebay seller that has it in stock.

So, this begs the question if the 2025 Scott Stamp Catalog set is a short print run?

As the 2025 US Specialized is long over due, the most recent USA information after the 2024 Specialized is the 2025 Vol. 1. That can or has created an uneven demand for the Vol. 1 as compared to Vols 2-6.

Preorders for the 2026 set are being taken now with 2026 Vol. 1 due out 4/1/2025.

There was a post elsewhere (believe it was Linn's) that Scott would print mainly based upon pre-orders now and so there would not be a lot of extra copies available later so if you think you want a copy, pre-order it. But then those that pre-ordered the 2025 specialized are still waiting.

Yesterday the seller mentioned above had 10 units left. Today that is down to 9 units of Vol. 1 2025.

I believe its no longer possible to get a complete set of the brand new 2025 volumes. I ordered Volume 1 from Amazon and the rest from Golden Valley Stamps.

This was discussed on this chat board many years ago . That it was a worthless attempt to try to keep up with recent catalogs and the price differences were not worth spending money on .

Scott did away with their "price review department " , They did away with their collecting price information for two reasons ,one prices were not changing every 3 or 4 years as in the past and second the problem of getting reliable price information took a big hit ,because no more price list were being created by dealers and the lack of dealer advertising prices in philatelic newspapers .

You are out of luck finding dealers who specialize in certain countries who are making a market in stamps for the collector .

The world has changed ,that is why I have two recent sets of Scott Catalogs because I belive we are at the end of the road for printed annual catalogs .1840 to 1940 and something 1941 to 1970 is still do -able but make a CD for 1971 to 2025 Scott pricing or just for their numbers .
