Does anyone know why "New" Scott Specialty Album 2-Post and 3-Ring binders (both large and small binders) & slipcases have been out of stock for months now at all (?) vendors, and with no estimated re-stock date?

Times have moved on and people now moved on . The collecting community has moved on to "print your own pages ". I have purchased many of my Scott Speciality Albums in the 1970's , My Italy album cost me $35.00 complete . . Today Amos wants $250.00 for the album .Today I can print any album for $15.00 or less ,but the Scott Album are many hundreds of dollars .

Also nobody stocks a inventory and AMOS only prints them on demand but that printing is done rarely and years go by before the demand is high enough .I guess it is a business decision not to have dozens of each album in inventory and a tens of thousands of dollars in inventory that doesn't move

Album pages may be print on demand but that does not apply to binders and slip cases. I wonder if the other challenges at Amos Media has affected stocking supplies.

A Scott Specialty binder and slip case is list at $70 (out of stock) on amosadvantage. It makes my purchase of a Vario G binder and slipcase at $45 (includes shipping) not as overpriced as it seemed.

If you want to order something from AA I would call since the website's search is poor.

Amos seems to be having issues that other manufacturers like Palo do not. Hmmmmm

I want to move some Scott National pages to a 3 ring binders but they do not fit in Vario G binders as they extend out the side by about 1/4 inch. I am not going to pay for Scott brand.

They'll fit Grande binders, I think.

Slip cases show up on eBay, mostly good condition used ones. Empty binders less so. Same with other binder and slip case brands.

I use Lighthouse Grande 3-ring binders with slipcases (35 so far) and paid between $30 - $40 each. Now they're running closer to $50 each, but still a bargain for the great quality.

When I switched from Scott Speciality pages to Steiner pages, I sold all 87 Scott Specialty albums with covers for $870.00.
Scott Specialty pages are too expensive and very incomplete and don't correct errors.
Much happier with Steiner pages.

I had a couple of Memory Keep bimders that worked with a tweak to the hole punch location. Since I do not plan to remount later it will not matter about the punch holes.

Ordered a new 3 ring green Scott binder and slipcase from nola stamps about 6 weeks ago, got them last week. I had also ordered a supplement, which they stated was the reason for the delay. Was a bit annoying as there was no order status sent out. I had to contact them to ask for an explanation of the delay.

I also discovered if you trim the Scott National page by half inch on left, they fit in Vario G binders and one is not really losing much as the border is still a decent distance from punch hole. The larger than letter size Scott National page adds most of the larger size to area outside the stamp border especially the left side.

The dimensions of the the stamp border are the same height as Steiner but only 1/2-in (12.7mm) wide so not much extra space for stamps.

Given that Vario G binders are imported, I decided to order some more.
