Abraham Lincoln 6c 1870 issue,I guess. Without Grill. Centre off to the right and up. S in Cents missing. Are such stamps considered an error stamps since it is a printing mistake. Comments and opinions will be much appreciated. Thanks.
The issue is not printing but is perforation. The design is visible and within tolerances allowed for production. To most collectors such a poorly centered stamp is worth far less then a better centered stamp. This is before further deductions are made for the various faults of the stamp as seen in the illustrations.
I think you would get better responses if every time you posted a stamp you did not always ask about value. If you ever post a good one folks will mention that fact. Right now, with this and your prior posts, you do not seem interested in philatelic knowledge as a new collector; rather just information to make money.-- a treasure hunter.
Parcelpostguy@ You don't read or you don't know how to read. Is there anywhere in this post, me asking for value. Maybe there are some posts I have asked for value not all my posts. Please read properly before you make comments rather than making yourself sound illiterate and silly. Unless you are trying to make your own rules here and seek cheap publicity.
I agree with the two pillars of the community about your stamp!
However, a very poorly centred stamp would be interesting (and perhaps valuable) - if for instance Mr Lincoln's head were perforated through the middle, so that the back of his head appeared at the left of the stamp. That would not be "within tolerances allowed for production".
Here you have a tiny bit of the scrollwork that ought to be on the right showing at the left, which you might find interesting if you haven't noticed it. But it adds nothing to the value.
Parcelpostguy@ You sound like a low class cheap publicity seeker. I rather not let you comment on my posts. Keep away from my post. Anyway you don't seem like such an expert in philately.
