I was lucky at a show a couple of months ago to get these cards from a dealer's table. They are apparently not reprints either and the price was cheap.

Nice cards Bujutsu...I have lots of war stuff, medals, etc. but I didn't think of collecting cards like you have....Good stuff.

Just amazing these things are. I have never seen one now a hot air balloon even.

I like the ship and blimp together on the lat one.

I guess it pays to keep going through the dealers boxes and sift through. The cards shown here were in a dealers box not sorted and all mixed up.

My wife found some WW II German POW cards in a box for me from the same show, another dealer, for only 50 cents each!

Will post those later too.

eBay for non-zeppelin flights is about $10 each

I have gone through dealer boxes where the zeppelin cards were specified as such and the minimum was at least $10.00!!

Needless to say, I had a good find.

Here is a zeppelin-themed postcard sent from Frankfurt AM to Sandusky, Ohio on 18 August, 1909. The text is in Suetterlin German script, but the address is in U.S.-style script.
