Trying to determine which shade this is. Date is 1867, which is a little later than most I've seen. Does not appear to have a grill (check it under magnification). It does have a cool fancy cancel.

Yeah, I figured it was the Rose...

Do you think the cancel is worth anything? Is there a price guide for them?

Others on this board are more expert than I with regard to 19th century fancy cancels, but I do not think the circle of wedges is all that unusual. I'd be more interested in the double circle datemark in blue at the upper left.

The blue mark at the upper left is a private mark used by the sending company to datestamp their company documents such as canceling revenue stamps on checks, etc. It is not postal.
