I received one also. I kept trying to "open" mine. It felt thick enough to unfold -- I thought there was more inside.

Alas, only a postcard.

Interesting. I made a post last night over on "Any Interest in World Postal Stationery" thread about the card I received. This IS postal stationery, by definition and practice. I see yours had the "P" emblem for domestic rate, where mine had a $1.20 postage rate on the design (for foreign postage). That makes 2 different items printed. I am curious if WEBBS will list these as separate postal stationery items, and if they will be available to the public as "un advertising" variety items. In the past these items would fall under "Special Printed Stationery" or "Printed to Order Stationery", in many specialty stationery catalogs.
I collect Postal Stationery, and if you don't, I would be interested in getting your "Domestic Postage" item for my collection. Email me off list if you want to work something out.
I can't wait for the next catalog to see if they are going to sell these as "normal consumer" items.

PoStat4evR, I agree, they are postal stationary. One of the reasons they do not get cancels is because there is no tagging on them.

Also, if you re-check the previous posts, there are more than 2. There is English and French P, English $1.20, and I am sure a $2.50 for the international rate, at least in English.

Was on the phone last night the Canada Post ordering some star trek items and casually asked the sales person if they were going to ever make a set of these 4 cards available to the general public. She was not even aware that they had them in use, much less if they were ever going to
release them to the public as a items for sale via the Philatelic office. She found one of the Canadian versions on her desk and was surprised to know that it was considered postal stationery!
She said she would ask her supervisor in the morning and somehow get back to me. I will be waiting to see if this sale will ever occur, or if an overpriced eBay war will develop selling these items.

What is different from this one, beside they use an image of the stamp that make it look like a stationary instead of a the regular personalized one that is also printed . To be a stationay don't it can be purchase at post office and we can fill something some place like a Post Card or a form of receipt ? Like it was for the period I collect stationnary

( well it's an envelope but a card will be the same )

for me it's pure advertizing and they can keep what ever they try to sell.

Area66, that is Admail/Personalized mail. It is also very collectible. The Canada 150 card is a different category, it is more like Picture Postage, but printed on the card instead of being a stamp.

In the past, many countries called this type of printing a "Private Print" or Special Order Print". It IS postal stationery as compared to the admail/Personalized Mail shown above.

Will be interesting to see how catalog editors categorize it, if ever one do it. It's remind me the problem of the 1983 label, for me the worst and most ugly thing I have in my albums, and in a Lighthouse album, what Lighthouse was thinking.
