Step 1 - Choose a nice potato
Step 2 - Take a penknife
Step 3 - Carve some squiggles in the spud
Step 4 - Place the spud on a red stamp pad
Step 5 - Voila!

I thought you just cut the potato in half and revealed the worm tracings.

I didn't realize there was an element of craftsmanship (beyond "knowing where to cut").
