I have the following Christmas Seals available to whoever wants them. Cost? Just postage to where ever you may be. If overseas, The equivalent to $1 in currency is also fine(I give them to my youngest). I do have duplicates of most, if their are multiple requests.
American Lung Assn. 1946 1949 1950 1951 1983(sheet) 1986(sheet) 1988(sheet) 1991(sheet) Also a few Boys Town

Shall do Revstampman, The smallest denomination in notes is $5, but that's fine :) I could send coins but I feel that invites inspection from all and sundry. May take a few days to get a crisp note.

I am not a full sheet man, Eric, prefer singletons, but those pages have a Wow! factor. Kick tyres around your next stamp auction/bourse and put your price on them, I would be very keen. But prefer not to make an opening gambit. Sure you want to sell Grandmum's stamps? I'd be honoured to have them.

Rod,
I guess I may have broken one of the rules of the forum, by offering those to you, since I am a new member. I'll do some research and get back with you. I'm not really interested in the christmas seals so I will happily sell them to someone that is. Do you have any of those already? |

G'day asanders, No, I have none of the seals in the images that I can see, my collection is still in its infancy, I only have about 5000 which is tiny for seals. I am badly lacking in a catalogue which hopefully shall turn up at auction one day.
Please advise if you arrive at a price and are happy to sell. If you rethink and decide to keep, that's cool too :) Rod.

I am also a collector of Christmas seals. My preference is Canadian, but in the course of buying auction lots and collections looking for items I like, I always end up with lots of duplication.
I'm not yet at 50 posts (though well over the 14-day requirement) so when I get there, keep me in mind as a potential source for purchase or trade.
I also have a good number of Easter Seals, though for whatever reason they hold no interest for me.

Feel free (when you are able) to bag up a lot, and give us a quote postage to Australia. |

rod222, at my rate of posting, it'll be a while. However, patience will be rewarded.

I am approaching the magic 50 posts. We'll chalk it up to a couple of rainy days and convenient naps by children!
Was there someone here who collects Boys Town stamps?

For those interested in my "extra" Easter Seals, please send me an email and in mid-July, I'll dole them out equally to the interested parties. It might get folks going on a new area! I guess you'll need to provide me with your mailing addresses. I'm just over 50 posts now, but not sure of the protocol for obtaining that information. My email is petermac @ magma.ca

I collect seals Peter, no sheets, just singletons I prefer to purchase in a lot, say $20 if you can do. I take any/all floor sweepings, registration labels don't throw it in the bin, send it to me.

I have a whole binder and more I have not dug out yet. These are for the most part full sheets. I believe 1928 in a broken sheet is the oldest. bought as a solid stack (stuck together in a big stack) spent a lot of time saving many of the sheets. |
