Im currently looking for a decent image of the 1880 3d Additional value from the Cape of Good Hope.

Colour: Dull Pale Rose
SACC: 31 (I dont know the Scott)
SG : 36

The stamp was only available for one month when they decided to overprint it with the value "3" for easier identification - I assume because of the dull colour of the stamp.

I have the images of the surcharged stamps which can be seen at:

Cheers

Sandafayre has an image of a strip that is almost too good to be true...wide, narrow and omitted...small, though...

(here it is for those shy about clicking links)

I'm pretty sure I don't have one without a cancel. I've picked up several COGH accumulations over time, but most of the stamps are used. If you find a nice scan, please post!

Collin

I found that one from Sandafayre, I was going to cut out the middle one but then the image is way to small. Will keep looking - I might have a used one in my collection.

Thanks for the look though
Drew
