Egyptian Themed Stamps

A sheet of Egyptian Antiquities from the Louvre in Paris.
One of a series called 'STAMP !' by Marque et Modele deposes from Photos by RMN. [Google did not give anything away with that Photographer !].

I have no idea how many exist but these attractive Cinderella Advertising Sheets are available in most major tourist attractions in Paris and maybe elsewhere in France too.

Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting an airplane flying over Abu Simbel, printed by photogravure, and issued by Egypt on August 1, 1972, Scott No. C147.

Here is an image of yet another stamp depicting Abu Simbel, printed by offset and issued by Benin on April 15, 1980 as one of a three-stamp UNESCO set, Scott No. 454.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a partially-submerged Sphinx at Wadi-es-Sebua, designed and engraved by Albert Decaris, and issued by Monaco on June 3, 1961 to publicize UNESCO's efforts to save the Nubian monuments, Scott No. 479.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a hand lifting the gateway to the Great Temple of Philae (which was dismantled and relocated to a nearby island in the Nile river during a UNESCO project started because of the construction of the Aswan Dam), designed by Tunisian artist Hatem El Mekki (1918-2003), engraved by Roger Fennetaux, and issued by Tunisia on March 8, 1964 to publicize the effort to save the Nubian monuments, Scott No. 440.

to have been away and come back to see such nice posts
is fantastic, loved the Ajman full sheet, never seen it
in one piece before, and the lithograving stamp and wiki
image was fantastic.
Other material from the big red bus as well, never seen before.

It's hard to understand evolution, because looking at
the images, humans havn't really changed for 6000 years
