More good stuff!
Trigger, any possibility of a close up scan of the squared or boxed
auxilliary strike please?
That's interesting,

Leederville, Fremantle, South Fremantle and Perth
The Letter carriers tried their best.

Seems another red aux marking with "OK" on it as well

Here you go, Rod..

The red OK, looks more like a purple OV, possibly the word OVER.
There is something it front of that, but can't make it out.

Yay! got it. Thanks Steve.

The Box says "CALLED"
then the date and L.C.S = Letter Carrier Service.

Looking closer Steve, that is a very unusual cover,
instead of what I thought was a "jumped" machine cancel,
it is actually a dual machine cancel,
Fremantle underneath Perth, with two slogans !

It's been through a machine canceller twice.

I have never taken much notice of this before, but you're correct.
There is another cancel under the "post early each day" too.
It says "send money by postal note or money order"

The CDS and the slogan are part of each machine cancel,
some slogans are applied by a pitney bowes machine.
These here are what I believe to be a 7-5a and a 40-1
both issued in 1937, so quite early usage.

Thanks for the info Rod.
I knew I must of kept this cover for some reason.
Seems it's quite interesting.

Another example of a boxed "CALLED" auxilliary marking,
this time, married to an "L C LIST" CDS

I presume that after the letter carrier called at the
premises, and could not deliver, the details were entered in
some sort of log, hence the LC List CDS

Yet another "wrong"...

This was actually cancelled in Aberdeen. The stamp cancelling machine was originally meant for Inverness but the location was changed to Aberdeen. They used the Inverness die from December 2008 until March 2009.
