I recently tried to describe some wording on a stamp which involved the use of Greek alphabet, however the text came out only as alt-codes and not as Greek letters. Did I do something wrong or is the systems set up to accept only Latin alphabet? Here's an example (abg) #945;#946;#947;.

If you use the character map in windows Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools you should get something like this:

#966;#937;


Ooops I guess it does NOT work, but it was ok in the preview

You are right, BeeSee, the Greek looks OK in the preview, however it does not work in the actual post. Nothing seems to work.

I have a virtual Greek keyboard installed so I can type regularly rather than letter by letter from the Character Map. I hope the powers that be in SCF see my original question and give me some idea. What I am thinking if the need arises again is to create an image with the Greek text and post it as a jpeg. Here's an example:
