I am looking for XL spreadsheets with info such as pre-cancels town name cancels Barred numeral cancel RPO's TPO's Varieties list - any stamp etc...
I am currently dealing with USA,Canada,Australia and Great Britain but will graciously accept any spreadsheet from any country with organized data and will be happy to exchange spreadsheets (if I have the info). Thanks Paul Paul

Thanks, plsllvn, aka Paul
It would be great at some point to get your USA Scott spread sheet. But I still need to tweek my precancels spread sheets to meet my specs that change when new info becomes available. I try to let you know how it goes.

Mike, this site belongs to an ASFE collector (A Stamp From Everywhere) from Lithuania. He's spent a LOT of time typing in endless lists, including US precancel issuing towns. Unfortunately, he seems to have bogged down on his list of US perfins, it hasn't been updated in quite a while. I use his site for identifying things like Danish perfins. There may be something in there of some use to you. http://zenius.kalnieciai.lt/Ryan |

I have found alot of errors at 'Z's site in Lithuania, as well as the ASFE site. So I defer to published info in books rather then relying on those sites. Not that the sites are not interesting, they are, but they are not always right. Besides I do not agree with 'Z's assertion that membership in the UN is of philatelic importance to any stamp issuing country. |

I'll echo that sentiment. In fact, most stamps truly worth having were issued long before the UN even existed. |

Has anyone you else used the ASFE site, "A Stamp From Everywhere"? I find it slow and cumbersome. |
