About Me

I believe it started in the 1950's….

My father was a young man, he and a friend worked at their local post office. A friendship was created with their boss, the postmaster.

The postmaster started planning his retirement and he promoted my father's friend to take over the post office. This is because my father was entering into the US Army at the time. The postmaster, who was also a stamp collector, gave my father his entire collection! My father continued adding to this collection through the years. He also became a postal inspector after the army working on a few well known cases, such as the Frank Serpico, the cop who couldn't be bought, police corruption case and the Clifford Irving's hoax, the fake autobiography of Howard Hughes.

Unfortunately, my father passed away in 2006 and is very much missed by his family. Recently, I've taken on the project of organizing and displaying his collections. He certainly would have gotten a kick out of seeing his collection on-line.
