About MeI am a longtime newspaper person (reporter and editor), as in, I started in high school, continued in college and worked for 36 years at the Syracuse, N.Y., dailies (first the Herald-Journal; now The Post-Standard), mostly as an editor the past 15 years. I published a mystery novel in 2013 ("Chasing Jenny") based on the 1955 theft of the McCoy block of inverted Jennys. I collect U.S., Canada, Italy Coins of Syracuse, food, fruits and veggies, stagecoaches, bears, autographs, Onondaga County (NY), Japan new years and way too much more.
