About Me

My concern is with stamps that look nice and also with completeness, history, research, and organization. If the stamp wound up with faults, thatfs just part of itfs history. Heck, I have a few faults and am still a pretty nice guy; I think I glookh nice too!

Now the key though KNOWING you are buying seconds/faulty stamps. I pay anywhere from 5-12.5% or catalogue. At that rate, Ifm building a nice looking collection, can fill a lot of scarce spaces and own many stamps I would not really be happy paying more for. I am not collecting as an investment; itfs a hobby and passion that I have loved since child hood an now in my 50Œs enjoying even more.

Ifd like to see 10 spaces filled at 10% than one space paying 50-90% or more of catalogue value. It suits my goals and purposes, but again, you have to be aware of what you are doing.

What do you think?
