After reading through some of the posts here, I just felt like I HAD to get myself a box of this drug. However, being the complete beginner I am, I was not going to spend anything! I bid on two lots of Scandinavia Kiloware, I think it comes out to about 500 grams. Bid 99 cents on each one, I have the strange feeling I'm not going to win. But this could be the start to something...

The action usually happens in the last hour or even the last seconds. Watch yourself and don't get caught up in the 'But those stamps are mine, I bid on them' feeling that auctions produce in a large many bidders (me included).

Set a limit and try to stay within it.

Of course, if it is one of those days that you feel great and want to spend some money on stamps to feel better there is not much to be done.

Good luck!

Sometimes, to scare myself into some sort of sensibility, I look at the completed listings and see what a similar item has sold for (usually higher than what I thought it would have).

Way to dash my dreams! Just kidding, I assumed I wasn't going to win...But maybe if I play the disheartened newbie card somebody will be like "here you can have this box of old kiloware that I don't actually want!"
