Chill is a word we use at home to calm things down.

Chill is what I see some members are trying to avoid in there daily life at the minuet.

As I have said before this stamp has the highest catalogue value in Australian decimal as a standard stamp.

Even though this stamp was printed in 2001 there has not been an international stamp released since over $4. So maybe the reason for this is there was no need to print another stamp over $4 because the $20 stamp is still in stock at the PO?
Armed with my Aust cat I went to our local PO and explained what I thought about the $20 stamp. She looked at me as if I had totally lost the plot. She had noticed that in the 2006 cat the value of this stamp is mint $30, used $28 but rang Aust post straight away and the result is I have 10 of the said stamps. This stamp will help to get my money back on the expensive postage I have to do.
So now I am going to see if another 3 stamps over $4 are still in Aust posts stock. Here's hoping. KGV

This image has been posted recently but is a great example of Australian scenes that I like so much.
It is the most expensive standard set in Aust dec and that was available over the counter at Aust post and is also the most expensive cat set as well.
No guesses to what international post stamps I will be chasing next.

This image will always remind me of a great family time.

It was the beginning of a long journey with Australian Decimal.

This postage started me with a topical that I think I will collect.
Large postage stamp pieces. They look so attractive to me.
Not bad for a person that would only collect Australian KGVs.
SCF is responsible for a great deal.

What a lovely piece(Colonial heritage)
Are they still available from the P.O.
not quite a "Stamp on stamp" but would serve well as a header for this collection.

Thanks David!

The minisheet would not be available from Australia Post now.
But the definitive $5 stamp will be around for some time.

It makes me think that the 2006 $10 Waratah
definitive has not been replaced as yet.
The 2006 $5 Kangaroo Paw definitive
might not be available anymore.

David that 1984 set is one of the hardest to get out of kiloware.
It is a very special set. One that I will have to buy to get in any form of numbers.

Some of my favorite Australian Wild Flowers.
The same $10 and $5 stamps mentioned.

David,
That is a great series of stamps of scenic OZ. I do enjoy the scenic landscapes stamps of the US, which have a close connection to our National Parks stamps. Being a person whom likes to travel by car those images have a stong appeal to me.
