"...and now, the end is near and so I play the final curtain.....".

Just over half a year and finally the end is coming to the sale of THE COLLECTION.
Today I put up a few auctions which have already seen some bids. Thanks. I have a few sales threads to do this week and that will just about be it, save for a few mixed packets of bits that may find their way to some corner of a foreign field..........

I will be putting up one umusual Sales thread as a 'FINALE' to it all and as a final 'Thank You' to all who have participated, purchased or simply looked on at the sales and auctions over the last months.
I want to say thanks to you all for your patience and understanding during my mentally unbalanced time and for helping me sell off this collection. It was my wish and hope that I would sell most of the items to forum friends, and I believe I have achieved at least that.
You have all been wonderful.

As a Thank you to the owners for putting up with my over-zealous sales postings, I will also be holding a Donation auction that I hope will please a few of you. Thanks to the owners in advance of that.

So, the end is near and I've had a ball. I have learned so much about GB Line-Engraved issues; Revenues; Commonwealth material and early Postal markings and cancellations. It was like being in school all over again but learning something you really wanted to learn. I lost count long ago, of the sleep I lost but it was worth it.

But I could not have done without your help.advice, encouragement and money .

A big thank you to you all. If I could hand out a box of chockies, now would be the time to do so.

Enjoy the the last act........

Londonbus1.
