The Koala is an Australian icon, instantly recognised the world over, so I think it's time for showing off all the koala stamps. I'm hoping there's some we can show from other countries, not just Australia. I'll kick it off with my favourite:-

I nearly missed this one. Australia, 1976, SG 636. Gibbons describes this as "Toy koala bear and decorations". Excuse me Mr. Gibbons, I am NOT a bear!  |

Koalas are also used in the margins for definitives to indicate the reprint number. For example, this is reprint number 4 for this sailboarding issue from the sports series of 1989.  |
