After standing in Jasper for almost 100 years, the Raven Totem Pole was taken down and repatriated to Gwaai Hanaas, in 2011 a new pole, the Two Brothers pole was erected in Jasper to replace the Raven Pole. http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/pn-np/ab/ja...tem-mat.aspx

- an interesting read especially..... 'public houses closing at 7PM and not allowed to advertise beer or spirits - not even on windows', the word parlour only. Heard evangelist author of Old Rugged Cross (Rev George Bennard 1873-1958)

How did they plant that ? I have enough trouble getting my newspaper box straight in the ground ! Heres a photo postcard from Kiel 1915, the guy in the upper right looks just like photos of my Grandfather !

Phil: Is there a caption explaining this photo on the front? Was this patient a VIP? (with a doctor and a nurse in bed with him.)

No caption, the guy with the bandages looks like a common slug like me, she may like the handsome guy to her left !
