Here's a cheque drawn on The First National Bank of Ellsworth, ME. It is the Bluehill, ME branch and issued by W. I. Partridge February 9, 1899 for $119.17.



I'll let someone with a knowledge of US revenue stamps give any info on the stamp itself.

I just noticed when looking at the location of Bluehill, Maine that it is actually Blue Hill. I've noticed a lot of incorrect or different spellings of places on cheques over the years
