I received two emails on June 18 from forums-at-stampcommunity-dot-org telling me that two of my posts had "...been removed from public display". I reviewed the SCF posting rules and was unable to figure out which rules I had violated.
As the notifications stated: "If you review the rules and do not feel there was a violation, you may reply to this email.", I replied to both emails asking, "Could you let me know what I did wrong in this post".
As it has been a week, I was wondering if my responses had vanished into the aether, or if the moderators' plates are so full that it takes longer for them to respond? And if the latter, what is a notional response time?
Your posts got caught in threads that were in violation of the rules. I do not think your posts violated rules but when the entire thread gets removed the automated email gets sent. Your reply emails went to a single person and no doubt he is busy. If you ever have any questions please feel free to message me.
In terms of Moderator response time to any 'Send Note To Staff', response time averages less than 15 minutes. There are three of us serving this forum, it is very rare that at least one of us is not online and dealing with any problems. Don
