I'm interested in hearing comments about this stamp, I found it in my grandparents things. It looks like it was mis-perforated somehow.
Any information or discussion that folks would be willing to provide are greatly appreciated!

Hi jstav, and welcome to this forum. Yes, the stamp is poorly centered, and it came from the edge of the sheet. One of the nice things here is that it is still on a card sent by your grandmother. That by itself makes the card with stamp worth keeping.

Thanks Peter! I appreciate the courteous response, Of course it has great sentimental vllue. It was actually on a postcard from Fort Sumter, postmarked 1938, and sent to my great-grandmother ;)
