I know nothing about Stocks and I came across this recently and I was wondering if it was worth anything? I tried to google the name but came up dry. If the company was bought out by another company somewhere along the line would this still be valid? Also, do people collect stock certificates that are no longer any good?

Any help would be appreciated.

Lucky

Yes people do collect obsolete stock certificates. Especially for the engraved vignettes and topically by type of company from my understanding. I don't know much else beyond that.
