Hello From UK

Hello to everyone on SCF.
I have recently started collecting and initially started an account on 'another stamp' forum.
I have been an internet user since the early nineties and am well versed in forum usage but was not prepared for the hostile environment of the aforementioned forum.
One of your members - Londonbus1 - provided the details of this site and after lurking for a few weeks have decided to join as I can tell from the atmosphere it is a much more hospitable place.

I collect stamps from any era and country as long as they are litho/engraved but I do have a few 'guilty secrets' outside of this range too such as machins, Belize, Falklands, TAAF and other places I visited during military service.

I hope I can contribute to this forum.

Hostility on a stamp forum? That's hard for me to fathom but I'm new to forum participation and SCF has been my only experience (and a very positive one).
