Help... Where does one find the structure, e.g. mileposts, milestones, etc? And, of course, benefiyts, rights, privileges etc. attaching?

you will get there before you know it. It takes some a short period of time others longer. It is all dependant upon how much you have to say, how much time you have, and of course you sharing your interests. It took me 6 months.
