I looked and looked and searched and dug and crawled under the desk and looked again but I cannot find the thread / topic.

It was relatively recent and listed quite a few catalogues and books on stamps that were being offered for consideration.

Anyone know where it is located or gone to?

Thank you.

I think you might mean the one where someone was asking for offers on a number of philatelic reference items they were selling for a friend? Was it Revstampman or am I remembering wrongly? I can't seem to find it either? I suppose there's always the possibility it was deleted for some reason

I too was interested and looking for it. I'm thinking it was removed by moderators for some reason.

Yes, I had looked at him and then thought the offer thought.

Thought I would ask as I may have had the screen sideways or I was upside-down in this reality or something foolish.

Thanks all.

i don't see any reason why it would have been removed unless Revstampman did not get any bites on any of the books and cancelled it !

I Have been un-available for the last few days. Sorry Guy's and of course Gal's as well.
It was removed by the Admin. I am not sure as to why. I don't think I broke any rules. I have asked and am awaiting a reply.
So, If you are interested in any of them send me an email and I will send you a copy of the list directly.

Revstampman, I quote a line from your first paragraph of said topic...

Quote:
I am collecting offers for Him on the following books.

and now I quote from the rules...

Quote:
All non-auctions must have a clear price posted. No "make an offer" sales are permitted. Firm prices only. If you want offers, run an auction.

Steve,

I See Say's the blind man! So, In that case It was correct to have been removed. My apologies to the administrators.

The reason for Not putting them up for auction is, that the owner is of the mind set that His Dad, would rather that they go to a Collector that wanted them and couldn't find them or afford them.

Reminder for those who might be interested. I am trying to assist someone in dispersing His Deceased Dad's Philatelic Reference Book Collection. It numbers 80-100 Books. For details and titles email me.

As a person who always "needed the discipline" its refreshing to see rules and regulations that are enforced !
