Australia's GST is included in the sale of stamps at the PO at face value cost.
But
With Australia international post stamp issues the face value cost does not have any GST in it for overseas mail.
But if I use the normal stamp with GST included in the face value cost to post mail overseas I have to take off the GST of the face value of the stamp.
Also to use international post stamps within Australia you have to take the GST off the face value of the stamp.
This situation is not a happy one for Aussies. It just does not add up. KGV.
