Not in the same class at all, of course, but from the other end of India, Jammu & Kashmir



From some unidentifiable location in Jammu & Kashmir, through the exchange office with British India at Sialkot, on the border with Kashmir, and eventually to its final destination in Amritsar. (The British Indian post office clerk has somehow managed to read the Persian (underlined) and decipher it as Amritsar. With his help, I can see it ... sort of. If I squint.)

Here is 1 I love, 1 in a Thousand covers will have 7 properly used Stamps, let alone Postage Dues. This one was a tad under franked. And you've gotta love the "Mail delayed Train late" stamp. From Honduras to US

Seems to me that they have some nerve charging postage due if the train was late.

And obviously the Train must have been late on a regular basis for them to create a Machine slogan for that purpose.
