Charles I know the enterprise is a floating city but my brother was stationed on it in drydock through the shakedown cruise. He was a reactor supervisor. Its a long shot, his name is Matthew Ziegler.

Name doesn't sound familiar - if you are talking about the shakedown after they were in their early 90's refuelling period then he would have been arriving as I was leaving.
It wasn't that much of a longshot, though, as I was a reactor operator and we most likely would have shared a watch or two if we had been in at the same time.

Ah, Sneeky, you were in the Real Navy, where "Heave Out and Trice Up" actually meant something - now I hear most berthings feature individually air-conditioned racks, not to mention scads of women running around the ship.

Hey Bob got the stamps today. We love them. Gina likes the mushroom stamps and I love the New Zealand wacky letterbox stamps. Thanks a bunch.

Cimmaron & Rlorenz. Glad to hear the stamps arrived safely. Cimm... That's a great set of stamps, those wacky mailboxes. If I recall, I think I sent you 9 stamps out of a 10 stamp set. Your mission is to try to complete that set.... |
