I bought it off of a
ebay's seller's store site (not the
ebay store) and I paid with my debit card. I wrote the seller and stated my position. he said that the "the image may not be actual stamp" is a generic disclaimer he puts on every post as he usually just sells many copies of many stamps. I actually read the whole listing and it was me that was at fault. I bid on the picture and was just to complacent to read the rest of the post. I still think it was a little shady because the auction catalog's description was way at the bottom of the page. It's my guess that many
ebay seller's are hoping that someone like me will do just that but in light of my discontent he has agreed to give me store credit. Well this is BIG lesson learned. I'm very new to revenues and only just recently realized exactly what they were while researching the "odd ones" I had in my collection that I had
inherited. I may be an idiot and eating "humble pie" for dinner tonight but it could have been a whole lot worse if a form like this with knowledgeable people could have made all the difference- well that and a little more observation on my end that is. I should have asked about it here first. I swear though, I was not now, or ever trying to dupe anyone! I looked and there is a ton of these catalogs for sale that are pictured the same way. I'm going to spare the dealer a posted link, as it was
