I still need to get mine. How are they sold? Is their a little souvenir sheet, or are they sold just like your standard run-o-the-mill everyday postage stamps? Just curious? Thank you -Jeff

I Love Stamps- It is just a plain sheet of stamps with
"Owney the Postal Dog" printed at the top.

Wt1 posted a picture at the beginning of this thread that
shows what the header looks like. It's the photo of the two stamps.

I was a little disappointed with how plain the sheet looks.
So many neat things could have been put in the selvedge.

My scanner automatically "trimmed" the selvege from the sheetlet image but there is enough shown to make the point. lol

Also note there are only two plate numbers in LL and LR positions on this issue.

I'm posting this "first day of sale" cover for those who may not send away for pictorial cancels. This one is especially nice since the Albany, NY post office was the "home base" for Owney. It therefore stands to reason that they would celebrate the event with a nice pictorial cancellation:
