Braveheart:

No offense to Her Majesty, but those 1977 Silver Jubilee photos must be the most unflattering set of photographs ever taken. The one showing her teeth is out of sync with the others; and taken as a strip like that, they look like mug shots

I'd have to put that series in the category of "great plan, poor execution"

phib: In the early '70s political arena our Prime Minister [Gough Whitlam] was removed from power by the Govenor General & when the PM told the Australian people what had happened he famously said: "God save the Queen ~ but nothing will save the Govennor General!" Family & KGV
