delhistampguy: If you are asking about the US Overrun Countries issue, here's a link that describes the series of stamps:

http://arago.si.edu/index.asp?con=1...&tid=2028721

An interesting side note to the issue:

"Due to the elaborate process necessary for the full-color printing, the United States government's Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, DC, contracted with a private firm, the American Bank Note Company in New York City, to produce the stamps."

The overrun countries were a set of stamps to commemorate the countries that was absorbed by the "Nazi war machine" and then later liberated by France, England, Canada, U.S.A. and the Russians in WWII.

They have the country's' flag and names on them. The U.S. Scott numbers are 909-921.

Hi ILS,

Be sure to edit your list of the ones you still need after you get the ones being sent to you.
If I have any you still need, I'd be happy to join in and help with filling a few more spaces if I can...

ILS, have you discovered any other holes in your collection that we might still help with a little? Like I pointed out earlier, if you want to add a few more years to your collection I still have duplicates beyond the point where you stopped with your wishlist. Let me know.

OK thank you! I'll look and make up a list. I only collect up to about 1970-72. So I don't pay much mind to the later stuff like this usually so it'll be really satisfying to finally get some of those gaps filled! Man I'm so humbled right now! I hope I can hook you up sometime. It'll all work out in the end! Again THANK YOU! -Jay

ILS, glad to see you've enjoyed the stamps so much. The offer of more remains. I think one of the beauties of this site is the willingness of everyone to help out another collector with advice or some stamps that they'll never personally use. Now the onus is on you. Some day and in some way, you have to return the favor, not to me, but to one of the next new guys or gals - maybe some young kid - who is just starting in this hobby or has a few "holes" to fill in a page. As this site shows, stamp collecting is a hobby that needs to be shared for the benefit of everyone.

OK, here is that list I promised. I apologize it took longer than expected to compose but I had some pretty serious stuff that I had to deal with first. all that aside-

OK, here is all the stamps I need to completely finish off my album/binder. Then I can completely focus on the classic period. I never thought I'd be this close to finishing it up ever! Somehow I thought that list would be a lot longer than it is? -Jeff

ILS: I have these dups if you want them. I think I also have a complete used set of the Postal People Stamps, too (1489-98).

If you want them, e-mail me your address.

I just love the color schemes and the engravings!

ILS - I have to agree with you. Even though the stamps are not multi-colored, the colors are nice and bright! They make for a nice album!
