Germany has lots of Santa Zeppelins on postcards, but I've not seen one that modern in appearance.

On a separate note, what is that green piece attached to the airship? It looks like a beaver tail to me!

well, the only thing west of France and Germany is UK.

The first thing that comes to mind is Ireland, just because of the green and orange flag.

OK, I sense the excitment is gone.
The winner? No-one, even though Danko mentioned it, but didn't state it as a guess...

Yep, it is from Great Britain. It was a Christmas aerogramme issued in 1968. Higgins & Gage # P43 or Huggins & Baker # APS-14 (whichever system you might like).

I agree with a lot of you that the drawing did NOT look British, but alas and alac it was.





So, thanks for all that played.... It is interesting what one can find in stamps/postal stationery if one looks...
