Does anyone know how much a 100 Block count of 1907 1 Cent Jamestown stamps would be worth? I recently acquired these and was just curious. They look to be in great condition. I appreciate your help!

Block of 100? So would that be a complete sheet?

Yes. Sorry, I don't know all the terms! But it looks to be a complete sheet.

Like this? I don't know if the price is accurate, this being from ebay.

That's the one. But the numbers are at the top (3540). And my sheet looks to be in pristine condition versus this one. Do people ever forge these?

If one is legitimate and in pristine condition, should I try to sell on ebay or through an auction house? I sincerely appreciate the help.

Let's see 3 scans, left, center, and right "thirds," from a scanner, not a cellphone. Use about 600dpi, then use the Microsoft Office Picture Manager to reduce its size to fit this website. Both front and back would be better. The Senf Brothers of Germany are the only forgers I know who would attempt a forgery of this scope.

I would not dream of trying to sell it on ebay - there's a hundred things that could go wrong, and you only have one chance to do it right; either sell it across the table at a major stamp show, or consign to a major auction house after a negotiated fee.

Wasn't sure how to upload images onto the site. So, I just linked to my photobucket account. It's a legitimate site. I could also emails the pics as well.

I GREATLY appreciate any help on this. It sincerely means a lot. I know baseball cards well, but I don't know the stamp market.

Your first few links are bad (errors). That is a nice piece to have and probably pretty scarce in a full 100 sheet layout.
One problem I do see is the centering but not too sure how it would affect value. The other question would be, is there any perf separation ?

For posting directly to the thread here, find the box on the right hand side of the screen on Photobucket, there will be a box "IMG" click on that box to copy, then past it into the thread here.

Sorry for the poor pics. I have an old scanner so I started using my phone. The only perforation separation I see is at the top right hand corner of the sheet. Not much. But there appears to be some. I can take other pics if it might with the community's thoughts...

Very nice indeed- Really have to weigh pros and cons of auction houses. This pc will definatly fetch a decent price and likely above what the one on the ebay link showed. However take off 20% plus any cataloging fees plus you'll have to wait 6 months or more to get paid. Assuming you were OK with $800 the item would need to hit $1000-1100 +/- to get your net $800. Using ebay would likely net the same but you'll risk the shipping potential damage ect... You could get a couple people on ebay fighting over it but in reality its easy to walk away from the computer. A good auctioneer can pick pockets with their tonque and I firmly believe your potential for exceeding the expectations would be at a good auction house. Assuming this is not the only stamp item you have I'd/we be interested to see more. We may make a collector out of you in the long run!

Believe it or not I found this along with a collection at a house I purchased. I thought it was something special when I saw it although it was buried. There are a LOT of stamps, but this is the only sheet. What do you think the upside on something like this could be at auction? I know ebay would have a limited audience. And I'm a fairly patient person.
