Hey Jeff--
I'm guessing that the 3 on cover are from plate 8-- plate 7 have finely printed lines and all three of them are lightly printed and the lines don't stand out.

The left stamp is an F relief and would be from the 6th or bottom row of the plate. The right stamp is an "E" relief and would be from the 5th or 9th row. I can't tell the middle stamp.

On the other cover, it's a "D" relief, and would be from the 4th row or 8th row, and it could be plate 7 or 8-- much finer printing. I tried to plate it, but just couldn't find enough plating marks.

None of them can be plate 5, so must be 7 or 8-- hope this helps!
