Thank you, I think! I just have a few comments to make as the new site dictat . . . I mean, representative. I would like to thank my campaign manager PhilB for his advice and support. I would like to thank Dianne Earl and Gussy for the millions of dollars they donated to my campaign. I would also like to recognize all of you who voted for me - your check is in the mail. For those of you who didn't vote for me - you'll get yours! Finally, I would like to thank Bobggg for NOT endorsing me. I think that's what put me over the top!

We've gonna shape up around here now. No more staying out late and blowing off homework. I will expect a stamp tithe of one MNH German issue from the 1935 to 1960 period from each of you each and every month. Other rules and regulations will be promulgated when I think them up!

All kidding aside - the application will be in tomorrow's mail.

Congratulations.

I have tried to follow what this all means to us on the site. Could someone please give me a condensed version of the benefits or what value this brings?

Currently I am not a member but will join after the first of the year. Do I get any benefits if I'm not a member? That isn't that important to me but I suspect our site does get some benefits and that would be cool.

mkfarm hs asked a very important question. the advantages are many - too many to list here. But, let me invite you to check out the APS website at: http://www.stamps.org/index.htm OR, the APS Chapter Activities Committee page at:http://www.stamps.org/CAC/index.htm

Im sure you'll find something that makes our affiliation with the APS useful to you as an individual.
